For the past 40+ years I have been doing marketing design, branding, logos, brochures, advertising, etc. And during that time, I used my illustration talents within the scope of the marketing. And at the same time, I have been doing custom commission artwork, primarily watercolors of pets, kids, sports, homes, wedding, anniversaries, vacations, events, wildlife, horses and longhorns, landscapes and children’s books! I am a native Texan, grew up in Houston and went to Southern Methodist University, graduating in 1972 with BA in Art. I have been married to my high school sweetheart for 42 years and we have two married children with 4 great grandkids. We have lived in Katy, Texas since 1994. How it all started - I was fortunate to be the Grand Prize winner in my elementary school Easter Art Contest when I was in sixth grade. This along with some other art I was doing, prompted my teacher to recommend to my mother, that I should start taking art lessons. So, that summer I start lessons at the Museum of Fine Art near downtown Houston, and then on to private lessons with Mrs. Ethyl Crittenden of River Oaks through my junior and high school years. I take great pleasure in using the creative gifts my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ has blessed me with. I hope to share my gift with you also someday.
